Straddling the border between the towns of Islip and Brookhaven, the hamlet of Holbrook, NY is in Suffolk County in central Long Island. Neighbors include Ronkonkoma, Lake Grove, Farmingville, Medford, Holtsville, Patchogue, Bayport, Sayville and Bohemia. A central location near Long Island MacArthur Airport, the Long Island Expressway and Sunrise highway and the Fire Island ferries in Sayville put Holbrook in a convenient spot for getting around on the island and beyond.

Holbrook is a quiet, pleasant community where you'll find well-tended Cape, colonial and ranch-style houses as well as newer modern homes with plenty of families and friendly, unpretentious neighbors. A central location assures that there are plenty of amenities like dining and shopping within driving distance in addition to shops and restaurants in town. Residents enjoy a newly-expanded and landscaped Main Street area that serves as a backdrop for seasonal celebrations and festivals.

The Holbrook Country Club is a favorite with golfers. The nearby 316-acre Sans Souci County Park is a nature preserve centered around a series of small lakes, a favorite for hiking and picnicking. Like all Long Island towns and villages, Holbrook is, at most, a short drive from many beachfront and waterfront activities including ferries to the gorgeous beaches of Fire Island.

Holbrook is located just south of the Long Island Expressway and just north of Sunrise Highway. Long Island MacArthur Airport lies just to the west. The nearest Long Island Rail Road stations are in Ronkonkoma and Medford.
